One fateful day i was on my way to pick up my clearance letter from my PPA, when i got down at the bustop there was a police check point and some officers were there carrying out their duty, as i passed one of them called out "corper " and I replied well done sir and waved at them.... When i finished from my PPA about an hour later, i had walked quite a  distance when the weather changed suddenly, heavy breeze  started blowing as i looked around there was no shade anywhere in sight so i started running towards the bustop "God help me " i prayed silently;  i felt the first heavy drop of rain on my head, and other drops followed, with the heavy rain drops i was getting wet pretty fast i was closer to the bus stop now and the police officers were rushing to their patrol van when one of them saw me and said "corper enter" i did not have much of a choice so i entered. The rate of Domestic violence these days is quite alarming, this is not a new development and only a few of these cases come to limelight. It is true that what God joined together let no man put asunder;  the question now is how many did God join together? Henry picked a restaurant with a view that over looked the Lagos lagoon, you could catch a glimpse of the third mainland bridge, with the cars held up in traffic causing their headlamp and tail light to produce red and yellow beams, after their meal they sat at the terrace of the restaurant to have a drink, she laid on her back on the relaxing chair looking into the dark sky with shining stars, the bright moonlight, the nice fragrance  that emanated from the flowers on the terrace which filled her nostrils and the cold feel of the evening breeze made her close her eyes and let everything absorb in,  the feeling was awesome especially the thought of being with the people she cared about; for her this was the true definition of peace, love and success she could not help but smile.
