THE EVIL IN MARRIAGE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE )

The rate of Domestic violence these days is quite alarming, this is not a new development and only a few of these cases come to limelight.

It is true that what God joined together let no man put asunder;  the question now is how many did God join together?

People get married for different reasons and most they let their selfish and desperate desire blind them and this  overcomes God’s plan and purpose for them.

It is quite sad that in the society where we find ourselves today marriage has become a sort of tool used in measuring a woman’s success; causing so many young people rush into marriage to attain the so called success only to realise that it is a mirage, for those who have the courage they rush back out, some others stay back for different reasons like fear of bringing shame to the family or what people will say at the end of the day they become  victims of domestic violence, while some others stay in name of protecting their children but end up causing the child more harm, they plant seed of hatred in those children against their father or worst still make them watch unhealthy scenes which has negative effect on the children.

It is usually excercise in futility when one tries to hold what was not together in the first place.

And please don't call God because i believe strongly in the word and it says " The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."

My advice seek the face of God first, don’t take selfish decisions first and invite God later.
