BROKEN (EPISODE 2)
It broke Femi's heart to watch the love of his life go through such pain, he hated himself knowing that he was the cause, he had seen Patricia angry in the past but he had never seen her this hurt; it brought tears to his eyes.
He stood there helpless as she cried uncontrollably, all he wanted to do was hold her in his arms and assure her that this will pass but he dared not.
How stupid of him to have understimated the threat of a desperate woman.
If only he had come clean and told Patricia all that happened by himself maybe it would have made things more bearable.
He got the shock of his life when she (patricia) asked him the question
"do you know any lady called Joy? "
He was going to deny but the seriousness on her face called him to order.
It was the second question that threw him off balance.
"Is she pregnant for you?"
Different thoughts were racing through his mind but he dared not lie at this point.
That is what she claims. Baby i can explain it's not what you think.
The silence from her was deafening but he had to continue explaining him.
You see it was nothing serious, she was just a lady i met through a friend. I swear, it was nothing serious.
It started with harmless chats, i didn’t plan for any of these.
Really?
You never planned for any of these ?
How come you never mentioned anything about her?
Please spare me those lies you are just an unrepentant liar.
Femi thank you for deceiving and lying to me for the past 3 years, i should have known better
How could you hurt me like this Femi? Patricia asked as she broke down in tears
How could you? She asked staring him straight in the eye
You did not just cheat on me, you were reckless to the extent of sleeping with a woman you barely knew without protection.
O my G...! How stupid of me to have trusted you all these years.

Do you know how devastated i was when i got a call from that lady? Do you know how much i prayed and hoped that all she said to me was a lie?
Do you know how i wished that she was talking about some other guy and not my own Femi?

My only regret is the years i wasted in the name of being in a relationship with you.
The truth is that i don't want to ever set my eyes on you again and please let me nurse my pain in peace. Don't try contacting me if you don’t want me to lay a curse on you and your generation. I wish you luck and my regards to the mother of your baby.
Before Femi could say Jack, pat walked away and never looked back....
( Femi knew that his life would never be the same again without Pat's love and he would never forgive himself for it.)
